⚽ Practice Guidelines
Practice locations / schedules are determined by volunteer coaches. Coaches will communicate with parents. AYSO Board members do not keep track of coach practices.
• Coach-Led Scheduling: Each volunteer coach is responsible for organizing practices for their team.
• Parent Input Welcome: Coaches are encouraged to connect with parents to find the most convenient days and times for everyone.
• Flexible Locations: Practices can be held at any park or green space the coach feels comfortable using.
• Recommended Frequency: Teams may hold up to two practices per week, each lasting between 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the age division.
• Family-Friendly Atmosphere: Parents are welcome—and encouraged—to stay, watch, and cheer on their players.
